Ethical Hacking
A master's-level course in offensive and defensive cybersecurity
Ethical Hacking introduces the techniques and strategies behind common computer attacks, together with the methods used to detect, analyze, prevent, and mitigate them. The course combines lectures and practical activities with an emphasis on communicating and presenting technical work to colleagues. I cover the web security topics.
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Describe common attacks against networks and computers
- Explain and exploit common vulnerabilities in controlled environments
- Explain security threats in operating systems and software
The course follows the same challenge-based approach as CyberChallenge.IT, adapted to a master’s curriculum.
